Frequently Asked Questions

For your convenience, here are answers to the most frequently asked questions about our dog care services. If you can’t find the answer you are looking for, please feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to answer any question you may have.

Dogs must be at least 12 weeks of age and have received three distemper vaccines and bordetella to board or come to daycare. Puppies must be 16 weeks to begin training and all dogs must have rabies shot by 6 months.

We require a $200 deposit to reserve a spot for Training. This is non-refundable if you choose to cancel. The deposit is applied to the total amount due.

We require a $50 deposit to book for holidays (Memorial weekend, July 4th week, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving week, and Christmas week) this is non-refundable if canceled at least 7 days prior to boarding dates. The deposit amount does go toward the total cost of boarding.

We will contact you in emergency situations, not for minor issues (small scrapes, scratches, etc.) If medical attention is required, we will go to a vet of our choosing (after hours we will go to Upstate Emergency Vet), we will contact you or your emergency contact for further instructions, payments (if required), etc.

Boarding charges begin the day you drop off (regardless of time). If you pick up by noon (exception is Sun.) there is no charge for that day. *All dogs picking up on Sunday are charged for Sunday.

No breed restrictions. Our facility is equipped to handle all breeds regardless of size and temperament.

To ensure the best quality and safest experience we ask that you do not bring personal items. We provide beds/bedding that are sanitized daily, a variety of toys are provided for playtime that are also sanitized daily, we provide tear-away collars for dogs that are in group play (otherwise collars are not left on any dog), and of course we provide lots of love and attention. We do ask that you provide food for your pets stay, we ask that it be bagged per day (if kennel food is required there is an additional cost to the stay)

No, but it can sometimes affect Group Play.

Yes. As long as we know she is in Heat we can keep her “safe”

Yes! We want you to feel comfortable with your pet staying with us. For safety reasons we ask that you do not bring your pet with you for tours. We encourage tours Monday through Friday 8am till 5pm and Saturday 8am till 4pm. We do not offer tours on Sunday due to limited lobby hours.

If you are scheduled to come in for training, we strongly encourage you to tour prior to drop off if you would like to see the facility, otherwise we can give you a tour at training pick up on Friday.

We require rabies vaccine for all dogs over 5 months of age. We require distemper/parvo combo vaccine for all dogs 12 weeks and older (puppies 12-18 weeks must show proof of at least 3 separate combo vaccines). Bordatella vaccine is required for all dogs regardless of age. Canine Influenza vaccine is strongly encouraged by our local vets but is not a requirement. We must have proof of all the above before your pet is allowed at the facility, the only exception is if we have a signed document from your veterinarian stating that your pet is exempt from vaccines for medical reasons and that they are not at risk to board.

Yes, we can give medications. We ask that all the medication be brought in the original bottles and that you bring in something to put the medication in (cheese, pill pocket, etc.). There is an additional charge for injectable medication and these medications must be pre-drawn (no exception)
